Music and Math for Preschooler

Music is organized in mathematical ways.  It is counting, melodies, rhythms and harmonies in counting mathematical patterns and recurring sequences. 

Music is play to children in every sense of the word.  Early experiences with music that are positive help prepare children to be successful in many areas of learning.   

Miss Roxanne will perform and interact with the preschoolers and make the connection fun and educational.

Implementing Healthy Choices

The curriculum is an opportunity for the children to participate in age appropriate actives.  Geared toward preschool to Grade 2.

Modifications for each age and stage in the exercise componets.

Miss Roxanne is a certified with American Fitness Association of America. 

Healthy Choices is a program for addressing the increased prevalence of childhood obesity.  Nutrition and families eating together is the main theme with Miss Roxanne’s rendition of, “Goldilocks and The Three Bears”.

Teaching Children how to Cope with Stress

Children deal with stress the best way they know how.  Identifying and  recognizing coping mechanisms will be observed and played out in a story.  Talking about their feelings and conflict resolutions strategies applied on just the right level.
